Hummus is a great source of protein. Its perfect for the BBQ and potluck filled summer months. Feel free to make a batch and pair with some veggies. 1 Cup Chickpea sprouts (let them sprout overnight)
1 Lemon or lime, juiced
2 Tbsp. Fresh orange juice
1 Clove garlic, minced
2 Tbsp. Raw Tahini
Dash of sea salt
¼ tsp. Cayenne pepper
¼ tsp. Maca powder
2 Tbsp. Chives, chopped
Blend all of the ingredients together in a blender or food processor. If the consistency is too thick, add a tablespoon of water to the hummus to thin it. Garnish with parsley. This raw hummus recipe is very easy to make and takes a very short amount of time. Enjoy!
